They cite Switchfoot, MXPX, Relient K, Rufio, Heart (band), Stryper, Ace Troubleshooter, Hangnail (band), Blink-182 as their influences. Alakrity won the Launchpad statewide music competition in 2007. Alakrity is releasing their You Are Here EP in fall 2007.
