campus chapters

If you are weary of religious rhetoric and want to do something, then this is for you . . .
Would you be willing to identify the physical needs of your campus community? Would you be willing to stand for justice, love to grant mercy, and walk humbly with God and one another? Would you like to motivate the entire campus to do the same thing?

help wanted: student leaders
If you are a student with a passion to eliminate physical and spiritual hunger worldwide, then gather a group of likeminded people and pray about starting a campus chapter. Resources to empower you and equip you will be placed in your hands once the group has been gathered together.

What is a Campus Chapter? A campus chapter is a student-led group of Christians who seek to collectively meet the physical and spiritual needs of their respective campuses.

Campus chapters are solely student/volunteer driven and do not have an FH staff member on campus. These chapters may have access to FH staff and materials, though, and will be people committed to the FH vision and mission.

Campus chapters will often be found in places where there is a strong volunteer board or council of FH advocates. While having a group of advocates in place is helpful, campus chapters may also be launched on the sole initiative of a group of students committed to eradicating physical and spiritual hungers worldwide.

Through the grace of God, your campus chapter may be able to:
  • Sponsor a child who suffers from malnutrition
  • Community 2 Community that suffers from chronic hunger and great poverty
  • Challenge and change the thinking on your own campus about global issues
  • Travel overseas to help build up communities in poverty and rebuild communities wrecked by tragedy
  • Educate your campus with the truth about HIV/AIDS, famine, natural disasters, and global missions
