On the weekend of March 2-5, 2007, golfers came from across the U.S. to participate in Food for the Hungry’s annual golf fundraiser. The weekend long event featured a golf clinic by Senior PGA Professional and U.S. Open Champion Scott Simpson.

More than $620,000 was raised to provide clean water in Kenya, vocational training in Indonesia, education and HIV/AIDS prevention with children in Ethiopia, food security in the Sudan, and health and agriculture training in Guatemala and Peru.

The Food for the Hungry Golf event dates have already been set for next year, so mark your calendars for March 2008 and plan to join us!
