Pray that government leaders would lead with righteousness. Pray specifically for guidance and wisdom for President Museveni and for all of Uganda’s government ministers.
Pray for God to raise up a new generation of leaders for Uganda so Ugandans may follow in His paths and that righteousness may be exalted in the nation.
Pray for the security of Uganda. Pray for justice and peace between the government and the rebel group the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA).
Week 2 - Churches
Pray that the Christian churches in Uganda will impact the society. More than 80 percent of the population professes to be Christian, but the Christian community has very little visible influence in the communities. Pray that the churches in Uganda would respond and impact their culture.
Week 3 - Families
Pray for families devastated by the AIDS virus in Uganda. It is estimated that about three million live with the disease.
Pray for the children who have been captured by the LRA, that God would rescue them and give them courage. Pray for the families of the victims, that they would be able to rebuild their lives.
Week 4 - Partners, Projects and People
Pray for our child sponsorship programs in Uganda. Pray that God will use it greatly to transform many lives.
Pray that God would give our staff wisdom and strength to address the growing HIV/AIDS problem in Uganda. Pray that our HIV/AIDS intervention will bring positive results to the glory of God.
Pray for God’s wisdom, strength and guidance upon all our Food for the Hungry staff in Uganda. Pray for protection and boldness to follow God even in the midst of difficult circumstances.
