Some important tips on when you write:
Always include your child’s full name and ID number on any correspondence. Your letter will be forwarded to staff in the country where your sponsored child lives, where it will be translated and delivered.

What your child would like to know
Children are interested in knowing about you and your family, whether you are married, how many children you have and so forth. They also want to know about your work—what you do for a living. They love photos; send one of you and your family. Tell them where you live, what kind of weather you experience near your home. They want to know if you worship God – what a great opportunity to share Jesus with them.
No gifts please On our field staff’s recommendation, we cannot accept gifts from sponsors to their sponsored children. When only certain children receive presents, the other children feel unloved and excluded. Please feel free to send photos and pictures – children love photos of their sponsors!
