Often after an emergency situation, Food for the Hungry will enter a field to provide immediate aid in urgent situations; such as war, famine and natural disasters. Many times, after the relief work has been essentially completed, sustainable development will begin in that region or country to prevent such calamities and build a community up to be stronger than before the emergency situation.
