In the midst of their busy schedules this summer, FH U.S. President Dave Evans, Christian musician Leeland Mooring, and FH Health Programs Director Carolyn Wetzel, will be training for three different triathlons while raising funds for FH’s work around the world.

Please join us in supporting their efforts by making a donation on their FH World Sports fundraising pages today. Follow the Train With Us campaign this summer on Food For the Hungry’s Facebook and Twitter from July 15 through the end of October!

Dave Evans

Dave Evans

Dave Evans is the U.S. President for Food for the Hungry and has been with FH for 21 years. Dave is training for the Waterman’s Half Ironman Triathlon in Washington, D.C on Oct. 13. As an avid runner, Dave trains during his trips to the field and at his home in Washington, D.C. Dave’s fundraising goal is $2,000.

Carolyn Wetzel
FH Director of Health Programs

Carolyn Wetzel

Carolyn Wetzel is the Director of Health Programs for FH. She leads FH staff to provide resource development for all health and nutrition programs in FH fields. On August 25, she’ll be racing the Santa Barbara Triathlon Long Course. Her fundraising goal is $2,000.

Leeland Mooring

Leeland Mooring

Leeland Mooring is the lead singer of the Christian music band, Leeland. Leeland partners with FH to support child sponsorship and other FH programs. Leeland is training for the Ironman Austin 70.3 in Austin, Texas, on Oct. 28. His fundraising goal is $2,000.
